Shram Samvad: Indore & Dhar Region Level Capacity-Building and Awareness Programme on Labour Codes

The Ministry of Labour & Employment and the Madhya Pradesh Labour Department organized the 'Shram Samvad' programme in Indore on 3rd November 2026 to build capacity on Labour Codes among employers and professionals.

• Sushri Sheetala Patle, IAS, Labour Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh presided over the programme.
• Shri S.R. Datta, Director, MoLE presented the keynote address on the key features of the Labour Codes.
• Representatives from EPFO and DGLW led sessions on Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Scheme.
• MoLE shared a 'Handbook of Compliance for Employers' and a 'Compilation of Frequently Asked Questions' with participants.
• More than 150 participants from employers, industry representatives, legal, HR and finance professionals attended the event.
