Publications (Volume I and Summary Results of Factory Sector) of Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) 2024-25 (Survey period: October 2025 to June 2026) November, 2026

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation released the Annual Survey of Industries 2024-25 results, showing a 7.25% growth in Gross Value of Plant & Machinery and data on factory distribution by capital and output.

• Factories with capital investment up to ₹ 5 Crores account for 78.69% of operational factories.
• Factories with capital investment of ₹ 10 Crores & above account for 87.42% of total fixed capital.
• The top five industries contributed over 41% of total manufacturing employment during 2024-25.
• Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh contributed over 54% of total manufacturing GVA.
