CONCLUSION OF INDIA-RUSSIA BILATERAL NAVAL EXERCISE (INDRA 2026)

Indian Naval Ship Sahyadri departed Vladivostok on 20 Oct 2026 after the conclusion of the bilateral naval exercise INDRA 2026 with the Russian Federation Navy.

• The exercise comprised a Harbour Phase with leader interactions and a Sea Phase with coordinated manoeuvring.
• The Sea Phase included helicopter operations and medical evacuation drills to strengthen interoperability.
• The exercise reaffirmed the defence and maritime partnership between India and Russia.
