8th All India Conference of GRP Chiefs Concludes in New Delhi; Focus on Intelligence-Led Policing and Stronger Coordination among RPF, GRP and State Police

The 8th All India Conference of GRP Chiefs concluded in New Delhi on 23 October 2026 to strengthen coordination between RPF, GRP, and State Police.

• The conference was presided over by Director General, RPF, Ms. Sonali Mishra, and attended by Chairman and CEO, Railway Board, Shri Satish Kumar.
• The Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) onboarded GRP personnel onto the RailMadad platform.
• South Central Railway showcased the 'Pink Patrol: Eyes in the Sky, SHAKTI on the Ground' women-led surveillance model.
• Central Railway's Pune Division highlighted Project DISHA to engage children living near railway tracks.
• Deliberations covered crowd management during Diwali and Chhath, and joint training on sabotage prevention.
