202nd Victory Celebration and Birth Anniversary of Rani Chennamma Celebrated with Grandeur at Prerana Sthal, Parliament Premises

The 202nd Victory Celebration and birth anniversary of Kittur Rani Chennamma were held at Prerana Sthal in Parliament premises, New Delhi.

• The event was led by Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti, Shri V. Somanna.
• Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla and Union Jal Shakti Minister Shri C.R. Patil were present at the programme.
• The gathering included numerous Kannadigas from Karnataka and Delhi who paid floral tributes to Rani Chennamma.
• Union Minister V. Somanna thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for permitting the event annually.
