From Substance Dependence to a Healthier and More Stable Life

A 30-year-old man from Karimnagar, Telangana, overcame substance dependence with the help of the NAPDDR scheme.

• The intervention began on 12 November 2025 at an Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts in Karimnagar.
• The rehabilitation services were provided under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) Scheme.
• The support included individual counselling, group therapy, and medical supervision.
• He is now earning approximately ₹15,000 per month and has resumed regular employment.
