SHILP SAMAGAM MELA 2026-Guwahati

The 8-day Shilp Samagam Mela 2026 is underway in Guwahati, Assam, showcasing traditional handicrafts and handloom products. It aims to provide marketing support to artisans from SC, OBC, Safai Mitra, and DNT communities.

• The Mela is organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment during Financial Year 2026-27.
• It is open to the public at Farm Gate, Khanapara, Guwahati, from 11 A.M. to 9 O' Clock until October 28.
• A total of 75 artisans, including 31 women artisans, are participating.
• The event promotes the BHARAT-TULIP (Traditional Artisans' Upliftment Livelihood Programme).
• The first edition concluded in Mysuru on October 19.
• The initiative supports artisans associated with the NSFDC, NSKFDC, and NBCFDC.
