Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal Holds Meetings with German Industry Leaders and Research Institutions in Berlin

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal concluded his visit to Germany on 23 October 2026, focusing on strengthening India-Germany cooperation in trade and advanced technologies.

• Shri Piyush Goyal held a bilateral meeting with Economic and Financial Policy Advisor and G7/G20 Sherpa Mr. Levin Holle at the German Federal Chancellery.
• The Minister held individual meetings with the CEO of Siemens Healthineers AG Mr. Bernd Montag, and executives from Bertelsmann and Volkswagen AG.
• He participated in a roundtable with heads of selected Fraunhofer Institutes covering microelectronics, power electronics, and battery technologies.
• An accompanying Indian business delegation participated in sectoral roundtables with German industry representatives.
• Shri Goyal interacted with Indian science and technology researchers, students, and the Indian diaspora in Berlin.
