Ministry of Textiles Highlights the Dedicated Contribution of the Office of the Textile Commissioner under Special Campaign 6.

The Ministry of Textiles is conducting Special Campaign 6 from 2nd to 31st October 2026, focusing on cleanliness, administrative efficiency, and waste disposal. The Office of the Textile Commissioner implemented green initiatives and waste segregation measures.

• The campaign runs from 2nd to 31st October 2026.
• A Swachhata Pledge was administered to officers and staff on 02.10.2026.
• Dedicated collection bins for cloth waste and e-waste were placed in the office premises.
• More than 100 electronic items, including old computers, printers, and laptops, were identified for disposal.
• Indoor plants were cared for and watered as part of the Green Office initiative on 01.10.2026.
