Two-Day State-Level 'Shram Samvad' Programme on Labour Codes, Labour Welfare and Social Protection to begin in Lucknow on 26th October

The Ministry of Labour & Employment and the Government of Uttar Pradesh will host a two-day State-Level Capacity-Building and Awareness Programme on Labour Codes and Social Protection in Lucknow on 26th and 27th October 2026.

• The Shram Samvad campaign is a 90-day outreach initiative launched on September 28, 2026, covering 316 districts across 36 States and Union Territories.
• Day 1 of the Lucknow event will feature sessions on international labour mobility and social protection for Unorganised, Gig, and BOCW workers.
• Day 2 will focus on statutory compliances under the four Labour Codes and strategies for child labour prevention and eradication.
• Discussions will cover the rollout of flagship schemes including the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana.
