Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) Establishes Sixth Centre of Excellence (CoE) At IIT (BHU), Varanasi to Advance Next-Generation Telecom Technologies

C-DOT signed an MoU with IIT (BHU), Varanasi to establish its sixth Centre of Excellence for next-generation telecom technologies.

• The CoE will focus on Wireless Communications, Quantum Technologies, Cybersecurity, and AI-driven Communication Systems.
• It will undertake research in 5G Advanced/6G Technologies, very large-scale MIMO systems, and AI-Native Communication Networks.
• C-DOT's national network of Centres of Excellence now expands to six, including existing collaborations with IIT Kanpur, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Roorkee, IIT Hyderabad, and IISc Bengaluru.
• The MoU was signed by Dr. Pankaj Kumar Dalela, EVP of C-DOT, and Professor Amit Patra, Director of IIT (BHU), Varanasi.
