Capacity Building Commission was conceptualised by PM Narendra Modi ji who had initiated a series of governance reforms soon after he took over in 2014, says Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh

Dr. Jitendra Singh announced that Mission Karmayogi shifts governance to a role-based approach and praised Uttar Pradesh's implementation of capacity-building reforms. He highlighted the Capacity Building Commission's role in modernizing government training institutions.

• The Capacity Building Commission organized the Sadhana Shrinkhla 2026 regional workshop in Lucknow on October 23-24, 2026.
• UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Capacity Building Commission Chairperson S. Radha Chauhan attended the workshop.
• Annual CPGRAMS public grievance registrations increased from two lakhs in 2014 to around 25 lakhs.
• Over 19 lakh Uttar Pradesh officials registered on iGOT Karmayogi, contributing to a national total of approximately 1.7 crore.
• More than 370 Uttar Pradesh training institutions joined the UNNATI initiative, compared to around 110 institutions nationally.
